| Description: | The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Advancement and Marketing Coordinator. This position requires extensive contact with donors and the employee must possess: excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to handle confidential matters in a professional manner. |
| Duties: | Duties and Responsibilities • Manage the matching gifts program, Annual Fund acknowledgement, pledge reminders, pledge payment process and donor files. • Support the activities of the Annual Giving program through the generation of lists, queries and reports, including the Annual Report. • Prepare correspondence and mailings in accordance with annual program timelines. • Schedule meetings, confirm meetings, update calendars, reserve meeting space and coordinate audio visual needs. • Support the Marketing Coordinator. • Manage the solicitation of advertisers for the Sycamore Directory. • Support events as needed: creating event materials, representing Sycamore School and providing support at various events, assisting with event set up and take down, etc. • Manage ordering of printed supplies. • Alumni stewardship, and solicitation, including updates for the Sycamore magazine, alumni wall of recognition, email and Facebook correspondence with young alumni, arranging alumni events and keeping accurate and up to date addresses and emails. • Respond to donor inquiries and accept special event registrations. • Establish and maintain an effective customer service orientation towards all persons. • Manage special projects as needed. • Create monthly fundraising reports and business office balance sheets. • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement. |
